SEE Brighton

SEE Brighton was set up as a Community Interest Company in 2010 to provide English language learning services for Spanish-speaking adults. 

Appetere was engaged during the pre-launch phase of the company to create a web site which would be central to SEE Brighton's business. 

The site was required to have a promotional aspect, providing information about SEE Brighton's activities as well as more general information about cultural life in Brighton.  It was also required to have ecommerce functionality to manage bookings and payments for SEE Brighton's events.  All functionality had to be available in Spanish and English.

Appetere created the site using Kentico CMS, with the following highlights:

• Ecommerce functionality to take deposits for events, and final payments when due.
• Self-service customer management of their own details.
• Extensive content management for listings of what's on, in and around Brighton.
• Multi-lingual facility where any page can be switched from Spanish to English, or vice-versa.
• Built to be search-engine friendly.
