About HTML Emails

HTML emails are a type of email which look more like a web page, when viewed.   Like a well-designed web page, they can be more engaging & interesting to read than simple text-only emails.

What's Involved?

The first step is to design what the email will look like.  You can supply your own design, or we can create one for you.

As an HTML email is very similar to a web page in how it is displayed, any images (photos, icons, etc) in your design must be made available on the internet.  When someone views the email, these images are downloaded to their computer. 

The emails then have to be sent.  It is good practice to offer users the option to unsubscribe from future emails, and to view a version of the email as a web page, if they are having problems reading the email on their own computer.
